We founded Bloomineral on a simple conviction: materials themselves can be part of the climate solution. Construction doesn’t have to emit carbon; it can store it.
At Bloomineral, we transform CO₂ into solid minerals through large-scale biomineralization. Our macroalgae grow ultra-pure, carbon-negative calcium carbonate that permanently stores CO₂ and directly replaces mined limestone across various industries. The material is chemically identical to what industries already use (in cosmetics, paint, adhesives, agriculture, construction, etc), seamlessly integrating into existing formulations, but with higher purity, brightness, and fineness. We have reinvented the outdated limestone production process with a more efficient biological solution.
Our work begins in the LSCE labs, grounded in real benches and hydroponic systems, guided by peer-reviewed science and driven by the urgency of our planetary moment. We are pioneering carbon-neutral white cement to revolutionize the industry.
We aim to redefine how materials are made: turning carbon from a waste into a resource, and industry into an ally of the planet’s chemistry.
