Bloomineral was launched in 2024, by Dr. Caroline Thaler.

The idea was a pure biogeochemist dream:

To recreate what composes the natural carbon pump of the earth, alkalinity + biomineralization, but at an industrial scale and pace.

Bloomineral was fine-tuned at the startup studio Marble, to ensure scalability, profitability and climate awesomeness.

We are passionate about biomineralization and construction material, hosted in one of the world's top laboratories for climate science, the LSCE, home to IPCC experts!

The moment you're reading this passage, we're probably growing our organisms (we call them Bloomies), harvesting, measuring CO2 fluxes, or manufacturing our incredible crystalline powder, and testing it with construction industry professionals … and organising our scale up!

On our benches stand our prototypes of concrete bricks with carbon negative limestone filler: the first ever carbon-neutral Portland concrete bricks.
